The breakup was disclosed by Blanchard in a post that he made on Facebook on Thursday evening.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, have reached the end of their relationship.

The 32-year-old woman made the announcement on Thursday, via a private post on Facebook that was acquired by People, that she and her spouse of more than a year had divorced, only three months after she was freed from jail.

On the basis of the post, Blanchard is reportedly residing at the residence of her family for the time being while they experiment with spending time apart.

They have been inquiring about the events that are taking place in my life. Due to the unfortunate circumstances, my husband and I am going through a separation, and I have moved in with my parents’ house, which is located down the bayou,” she added. In order to help me get through this, I have the support of my family and friends that I can count on. My heart is teaching me to pay attention to it. Right now, I need some time to myself so that I may discover… who I am.

The latest information on their relationship comes just a few short months after she was freed from prison after serving seven years for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, for which she had pleaded guilty in 2016. During her time behind bars, she started communicating with Anderson, and the two of them eventually tied the knot in July of 2022.

She revealed to ET in January that the fact that they had a same location was the first factor that drew her to Anderson despite the fact that he was sending her letters while she was incarcerated.

I’m originally from Louisiana, and when I read it, I was sort of like, ‘Oh, look, someone from my home state!’ This is because Ryan is from Louisiana. She recounted, “So I wrote him a letter back, and we became friends, and of course we became more than friends, and then later on, we got married.”

In addition, the pair disclosed to ET that while they were anxious to begin their lives together, including the beginning of a family, they were not in a hurry to do anything and were choosing to take things one day at a time.

About having children, Blanchard said, “I don’t have any reservations,” and he meant it. “We both have talked about starting a family, we just don’t know when yet.”

At this moment in time, my life is a little bit crazy. Simply put, we are attempting to take things one day at a time,” she said. “We’re just trying to start off the marriage on a good foot before we bring kids into this situation right now.”
