The last episode of the series, which is headed by Vanessa Lachey, will be shown on May 6th.
NCIS: Hawaii is expressing their gratitude. It has been confirmed by ET that CBS has decided to discontinue the NCIS spinoff in the middle of its third season.
According to insiders who spoke to Deadline after the news broke, the show’s season 3 finale was not supposed to be the last episode of the series. Instead, it will close with a tease for a drama that will never take place in the fourth season. On the other hand, the publication claims that a significant cliffhanger will not unfold in the near future.
Despite the fact that the New Orleans and Los Angeles versions of the NCIS series came to an end in 2021 and 2023, respectively, the spinoff that was headed by Vanessa Lachey was the first one to include a female protagonist.
On the other hand, all things considered, the franchise is a prosperous one. Both NCIS and NCIS: Sydney have been given the green light for a 22nd and 2nd season, respectively, in their respective runs. In addition, Paramount+ is now working on a spinoff that will see Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly reprising their fan-favorite roles as Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo, respectively.

When ET asked Lachey about her position on Hawai’i, she enthused about being “a part of this incredible franchise,” which had just broadcast its one thousandth episode earlier this month.
“To be the newcomer — the baby at three seasons — and to be able to celebrate 1,000 episodes of a television show, I don’t know if people really know how big of a feat that is,” Lachey told the media outlet ET. “… I am just honored, in addition to being continually humbled, and I am quite appreciative. Nevertheless, I do not take it for granted in any way.
There has been no public statement made by Lachey on the cancellation of the program, despite the fact that he appeared on the show with Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, and Jason Antoon.
