If you have a soft place in your heart for animals that are in need, there is a video of a dog that was rescued from the Carson Shelter in Gardena, California, that will make you weep without a doubt.

The moment a pit bull “realized” he was going to be adopted was caught on video by employees at the Carson Animal Shelter. The pit bull’s heartwarming response will make you feel all kinds of emotions.

Benny, a pit bull, arrived to the Carson Animal Care Center when he was just eight months old after his owner brought him there. The day a family walked into the shelter and made the decision to adopt Benny was the day his fortunes turned around. Benny was given a home for the rest of his life by a family that will remain nameless, and the moment he stepped out of his kennel into freedom was caught on video by members of the staff.

The moving video was posted by the organization Saving Carson Shelter Dogs with the following phrase: “This incredible little dog captured the hearts of everyone who stopped by his kennel.” He struck it rich when this wonderful family decided to take him in as a member of their own family. Thank you so much for all of the SHARING, and be sure to check out his FREEDOM WALK, which is loaded with leaps and wags of the tail! BENNY, I hope you have an amazing life.

Benny gives the impression of being rather wary at first. However, the second he understood that he had been adopted, he started wagging his tail incessantly, and it hasn’t stopped since. In addition to this, Benny started to constantly leap for pleasure, which brought an even bigger smile to everyone’s face.

The upsetting video has been seen more than 5.3 million times on Facebook. Additionally, it has received over 3.4 comments, many of which wish Benny the best of luck in his new home and express gratitude to Benny’s new family for taking him in.

There were also a lot of individuals who took the time to stress the importance of adoption, which, after seeing the movie, is a very convincing point to make.
