She is 43 years old and from Thailand. She enjoys running and has competed in a number of races in the past. Khemjira, on the other hand, demonstrated in one of her recent marathons in Ratchaburi, western Thailand, that she is not only a talented athlete, but she also has a generous heart.
Runners ahead of Khemjira were ducking something in the path when she noticed them. Khemjira was seven miles into her 26-mile marathon when she noticed them. It turned out to be a stray Thai bangkaew puppy that had been abandoned.
She decided to take a break from the marathon when she noticed a small dog there, with no mother in sight and no houses around, and she decided to aid the puppy. She attempted to entice the timid puppy up to her, then grabbed it up and carried it away with her in her arms. Instead of abandoning or handing the dog to someone else, she carried the puppy all the way to the finish line with her.
Finally, she finished the marathon with the pup in her arms, and she was overjoyed because she had been able to save the sad dog. A video was taken of the joyful occasion, and everyone was moved by her generosity.
Following the race, Khemjira attempted to locate the puppy’s owners, but no one was able to locate her. She came to the conclusion that the pup had been abandoned, and she took the pup home with her, naming her Nom Chom in honor of her mother. The puppy has now been placed in a loving home where she will be happy and adored by her new human mother as well as her canine companions and siblings.
“It may take some time for him to adjust to his new surroundings. Nom Chom, on the other hand, is a highly bright young man. It is my hope and expectation that he would enjoy his time with us,” Klongsanun stated.
