It is something that Ellen DeGeneres is making fun of today in a new stand-up show that is going to be available on Netflix. She claims that she was kicked out of Hollywood because she was cruel and poisonous when she was working there.
This week, the comedian performed a live concert in Los Angeles, which was attended by a few reporters. During the course of the event, she ended up discussing her decision to leave her famous talk show, which had been canceled in 2022 because to allegations made by former employees that the working environment was a living hell.
Ellen asks, “What else is there for me to tell you?” Oh, you’re right, I was fired from the entertainment industry. There are no cruel individuals working in the entertainment industry.

“The hatred continued for a considerable amount of time, and I would make an effort to avoid looking at the news,” she continues. The girl who was supposed to be nice was not kind. It was the headline that read. As time went on, I became into this one-dimensional figure who enjoyed dancing up stairs and giving away things. A person who is cruel would dance up steps, right? “If I had finished my show by telling them, ‘Go f*** yourself,’ they would have been pleasantly surprised.”
Ellen also made this remark at one point, stating that this was really the second time she had been booted out of show business. She was alluding to the criticism she received in the 1990s when she came out as homosexual. She also added that there would be a third time later since “I’m mean, old, and gay.”
The aftermath took a toll on her ego and self-esteem, she said, adding that people in Hollywood either love you or hate you, and that the hatred typically exceeds the love. While she was making light of the whole affair, she also turned serious at different times in the set. She said that in Hollywood, people either love you or hate you.

Furthermore, she said that… “To tell you the truth, I’m making jokes about what happened to me, but in all honesty, it was quite upsetting. The way the program came to a close was absolutely terrible. Not only do I like that show, but I also despise the fact that it would be the final time that people would see me in that state.
In addition, Ellen said that the incident had a significant impact on her wife, Portia de Rossi, and that while she was in a state of depression for a considerable amount of time, she is thankful to be back onstage once again.
In the future, this stand-up comedy performance of Ellen’s is going to be videotaped and made available on Netflix in the fall.
