On his official website, Morgan Wallen is presently selling caps and t-shirts that include the inspirational saying “Get Me to God’s Country.” These items are currently available for purchase. The country artist’s controversial walk-off departure from “Saturday Night Live” during the episode that aired on March 29 is now widely connected with the remark. The show was hosted by Mikey Madison, who won an Academy Award for his performance in “Anora.” The country star served as a musical guest during the episode.

Wallen left the stage of Saturday Night Live during the conclusion of the performance, which is traditionally the time when the host and musical guest remain to embrace the cast of the show. Ahead of the release of his new album in May, Wallen gave two performances on the edition of Saturday Night Live that aired on March 29. After the artist made the choice to leave the stage, there was a lot of discussion on social media regarding whether or not he had problems with the show “Saturday Night Live.” Following the concert, he uploaded a picture of a private plane to his Instagram feed, along with a statement that read, “Get me to God’s country.” The post did nothing except spread additional allegations that Wallen really despises Saturday Night Live.

Variety received information from sources inside Wallen’s camp the day after the program was shot, stating that Wallen did not have any friction with “Saturday Night Live.” These sources also emphasized that the singer had a nice time and that neither his swift leave nor his Instagram post were meant to be an insult. Wallen was invited by “Saturday Night Live” to participate in a pre-recorded music segment for the program, but he refused to do so, according to a story that was published earlier today by Variety. There was a scene in which Joe Jonas appeared.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, cast member Kenan Thompson said that what Wallen did “felt abrupt” and left him uncertain as to whether or not Wallen “was really feeling a certain kind of way” about the program. This interview took place a couple of days after Wallen’s walk-off from Saturday Night Live.

In addition, Thompson said, “I was thinking that perhaps he needed to use the restroom or something.” In terms of the norm, it is undeniably an increase. Because we are so used to everyone just turning around and giving us high-fives, and everyone saying, “Good job, good job, good job,” we are accustomed to it. Therefore, whenever there is a deviation from that, it is as if one is thinking, “Hmm, I wonder what that is about?”

Additionally, Thompson questioned Wallen’s Instagram picture, saying, “The ‘God’s country’ of it all is strange because it’s like, what are you trying to say?” Wallen’s photo was posted on Instagram. You are attempting to imply that we are not in the land of God, right? We are not all in the land of God, are we? Aren’t we all protected by the protection of God? Certainly, it is not my favorite of the bunch. It doesn’t matter. It’s time to move on; we have a new program. This is the week when we have Jack Black.”
