According to E! News, Dempsey and Fink went to couple’s therapy sessions together in order to better understand each other and their relationship. They also took the time to attend these sessions together. According to Dempsey, it provided them with a “new beginning.”

Thankfully, the couple was able to patch things up before the end of 2016, and the divorce was canceled as a result.
