It would seem that Wendy Williams is the queen of the media, or at the very least, the queen of Lifetime, since her most recent documentary has seemingly taken cable television by storm, even surpassing Gypsy Rose in terms of popularity.

The impressive television documentary series “Where is Wendy Williams?” from Lifetime had an average of 1.2 million views in the “live + three-days-after” category, as reported by the network. This indicates that viewers just could not wait to see the captivating television program.

In terms of those who watched the show live or on the same day, Williams stands head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. He has slightly surpassed the viewership numbers that were achieved by “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” in January, which established a record at the time with an average of 1.1 million viewers per night over the course of six nights. Williams’s numbers are just slightly higher than those of the show.

As a matter of fact, Lifetime claims that it is their most-watched documentary since they aired a documentary on Janet Jackson in 2022. “Where is Wendy Williams?” has been seen by 6.2 million people across linear and digital television platforms up to this point.

In an effort to capitalize on the hype surrounding Wendy Williams, Lifetime also broadcast a large amount of material relating to the show, which, when it was shown over the weekend before, attracted a total of roughly eight million people.

It has also been reported that the four-part documentary series has fared very well on the Top TV Charts of Apple and the Top TV Purchases list of Amazon, and it has also received a significant amount of participation on social media.

With that being said, it is quite surprising that she was able to outshine Gypsy Rose’s life narrative. This is due to the fact that the documentary that was shown only a few months ago attracted enormous viewership shortly after GR was freed from jail for her part in the loss of her mother. However, to be fair, Wendy’s has been the focus of a number of significant stories in recent occasions.

Wendy is suffering from aphasia and dementia, which was disclosed only a few days before the documentary series was shown. This was something that we had previously documented. Wendy finally broke her silence and expressed her gratitude to her many supporters for their unwavering support.

Just so you know, the filmmakers are certain that they were unaware of Wendy’s health problems and that they would not have shot the movie if they had known all about them.

The fact that the architects of Lifetime were unaware of the fact that almost everyone tuned in for “Where is Wendy Williams?” seems to be a fortunate turn of events for the platform. — everyone was eager to get their hands on this one.
