A new baby boy has been born to Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, who are overjoyed to become parents.
In a post that she published on Instagram on Saturday, Jessa revealed that she had given birth to her fifth child. She then linked her fans to her YouTube account, where they could see the full delivery experience. When Jessa was about to give birth on December 19, shortly before four o’clock in the morning, she said that she had a sense that “this is going to be a very big baby, and I’ve said that for a while.”
In the neighborhood of nine pounds, she speculated.
On the 18th of December, Jessa said that she awoke and had her first “real contraction.” Following that, she and her husband made their way to the hospital. As soon as she arrived, Jessa revealed that she need assistance from her midwife in determining labor positions in order to rotate the baby. In her words, the midwife was able to assist her for a period of three to four hours.
Then, at about 3:24 in the morning, Jessa gave birth to a baby boy, after having been in labor for 20 hours.
“It was the sweetest moment when they raised the baby up, put him on me and just holding him there,” according to her. “I believe that there were just a great deal of emotions present at that time. You are digesting a great deal of information. We have been going through a torrent of emotions ever since we lost our last kid, which was a year ago.
After that, it was time to weigh the baby, and Jessa delivered an accurate reading: 9 pounds and 14 ounces.
At the conclusion of the ten-minute film, which did not reveal the name of the newborn baby boy, the siblings of the new baby boy rush into the hospital room to get acquainted with him for the very first time.
In September, the former Counting On star and Ben announced that they were going to become parents for the fifth time. This news came seven months after they disclosed that they had experienced a miscarriage during their pregnancy.
“After a heartbreaking loss last year, we are so grateful God has blessed us with a rainbow baby,” the former reality TV star wrote over a copy of the YouTube video titled “A Baby on the Way & Romantic Getaway.” The film was uploaded to YouTube.
“After a heartbreaking loss of our baby last year, just this past week we found out some wonderful news that our rainbow baby is on the way, and we could not be more excited,” Jessa said as the video began and a positive pregnancy test that was resting on the counter appeared on the screen. “Without a doubt, we are overjoyed.”
The Seewald family now includes siblings Spurgeon Elliott, Henry Wilberforce, Ivy Jane, and Fern Elliana. The newest member of the Seewald family is called Fern Elliana.
