James Green’s lifelong dream has been to become a parent. As a result, it is easy to see why he was pleased when he and his wife, Cloe, found out that they were going to have their first child.
The British couple made the decision to continue having children together after the birth of their second child, and they want to eventually have a large family.
When Cloe thought that they had reached the maximum number of children for their family, James would wink, grin, and say, “Just one more, Clo.”
Simply put, James delighted in his role as a parent. Even though Cloe had a full-time job, James chose to work from home so that he could spend as much time as possible with his children.
James was the one who was responsible for transporting the children to and from school, as well as spending the most of the evenings with them. He gave off the vibe of being a loving, passionate dad who was in fine physical shape.
After the birth of their fifth child, who was born with cerebral palsy, James and Cloe thought that their family had reached its optimal size. Cloe got a contraceptive implant after going to the doctor and having the procedure done.
When Cloe unexpectedly fell pregnant a second time, James explained it away as destiny.
Following the birth of their eighth child, the couple believed that their family had reached its natural conclusion.
Then, on December 4, 2015, their lives were turned upside down in an instant, barely 12 weeks after the birth of their youngest child.
As Cloe awakened in her bed, she became aware that James had stopped breathing.
When Cloe and James were young adults, they met and fell in love with each other after meeting for the first time. James often broached the subject of starting a family with his girlfriend when they were still in the beginning stages of their relationship. He aspired to have a head start in life and to have a large family.
James was a large man who had an even larger heart and a great deal of love in his heart that he could share with others.
Cloe was just 17 years old when she received the news that she was expecting her first child and was pregnant. In spite of the fact that it came as a complete surprise to both of them, she and James are overjoyed with the birth of their first child, Leo.
Following the birth of their second child, Levi, Cloe, and James were more confident than they had ever been that they wanted to have a large family.
After two years had passed, Chloe finally learned that she was going to be a mother to Oliver. Not too much longer after that, they had their first child, a daughter named Megan.
Not much time passed before Miley was born. She had cerebral palsy from birth, which necessitated a great deal of medical care throughout her life.
Because raising Miley required some concessions from her parents, Cloe and James came to the realization that their family was now complete.
Cloe had contraceptive implants inserted in her body to prevent her from having any more children.
But as often happens, destiny had other ideas. Unexpectedly, Cloe found out that she was pregnant once again.
“James said it was meant to be for us to have more babies,” she said as her justification.
Soon after that, Lacey and Lexi were born, and both of them were diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
James was overjoyed, as he had been with each of his other pregnancies, and he continued to feel this way. However, the couple decided that eight children was the optimal number for their family.
It is generally agreed that James was an excellent parent. His whole life was devoted to looking after the children, which needed a significant amount of time since there were eight of them living in the house.
Both Cloe, who was a stay-at-home mother, and James, who worked from home so that the two of them could give their whole focus to raising their children, were able to do so.
“He’d do the school run, then go to work at the café before picking the kids up,” she said. “He was very responsible.” Then, until it was time for bed, he would sit and read or play games until it was time for bed. He was bubbling over with excitement.
It had been twelve weeks since they had welcomed Elijah into their family when the unthinkable had occurred.
Cloe and James slept as they always do…
However, when James awakened at around 4:30 in the morning, he started behaving in a strange manner. When he sat up in bed, he was overcome with a feeling of complete numbness. He experienced a seizure and then stopped breathing not long after that.
Until the paramedics arrived, Cloe performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on her husband.
“I wanted to scream and cry but knew I needed to keep calm,” said Cloe. “I knew I needed to keep calm.”
James passed away while he was in bed. At the time, he was just 31 years old.
