Paris Hilton is speaking out about how devastated she is by the responses to a recent picture of her son Phoenix Barron, who is eight months old.
Following the cruel remarks, the TV personality took to her Instagram Story to express how “unacceptable” it is for fans to “target” her kid in their harassment of her family.
Hilton, who is 42 years old, celebrated her son’s first trip to New York City by posting a series of images of him on Instagram on October 19. The photos were taken during his visit with Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum. After a user on TikTok brought to Hilton’s attention the harsh comments that were made in reaction to the post, the latter responded that her “angel is perfectly healthy” and “just has a large brain.”
In a post that she made on Monday to her Instagram Story, Hilton provided more clarification on her previous response to criticisms made about Phoenix’s head. “Because I live my life in the public eye, comments are unavoidable; however, it is unacceptable to target my child or any other child for that matter,” she said at the beginning.
Hilton said in a letter that the reaction from the general public has “deeply” harmed her. “The pain that this causes in my soul is beyond anything that words can express. “I have put in a lot of effort to cultivate an atmosphere that is centered on love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same thing in return,” wrote the new mother.
The actress of “Paris in Love” went on to say that balancing the responsibilities of parenthood with her role as a social media presence has subjected her to criticism.
