Charlize Theron is not concerned about her advancing years.

The actress, who won an Oscar and turned 48 on August 7, gave an interview to Allure in which she discussed her thoughts on aging and how she accepts the changes that occur in her physical appearance.

“My face is changing, and I love that my face is changing and aging,” she said while speaking to the publication about her appearance. People, however, believe that I have had a facelift. They are thinking things like, “What the heck did she do to her face?” I’m like, ‘Bitch, I’m just getting older!'” It does not imply that I had a botched cosmetic surgery procedure. This is the natural order of things.'”

Theron went on to say that she has “always had issues” with double standards when it comes to the topic about aging, stating that she has noticed “that men kind of age like fine wines and women kind of age like cut flowers.”

She said, “but I also think women want to age in a way that feels right to them. I despise that concept, and I want to fight against it.” “I despise that concept, and I want to fight against it.” I believe that we need to practice a little bit more empathy for one another as we move through the various stages of our journey. My experience of having to have my face appear on a billboard is rather humorous at this point.

The star of “Monster” is not the only famous person who is embracing the natural process of aging while simultaneously criticizing double standards.

Last month, Gwyneth Paltrow, who is now 50 years old, gave an interview to British Vogue in which she discussed the fact that women are judged more severely than men for growing older.

“In my opinion, the issue is one of culture. “We don’t own it!” she said. “As women, we want to be in good health, and we want to be getting older. It’s such a strange concept to think that we’re intended to remain preserved through time.

“I love it when I hear somebody like Andie MacDowell, with her beautiful gray curls, talking about embracing aging and the difference between how we handle a George Clooney compared to how most women are perceived,” she said. “It’s such an inspiration to me.” “It’s handsome to go gray as a man, but for women, it’s like, ‘What do you plan to do about your wrinkles and your aging skin?'”

The actor known for his role as Iron Man said, “But again, we want to be aging! I believe that one of our goals is to demonstrate to others how gracefully one may mature.

Paltrow has said that every woman should cope with her own unique style of aging “how they want to do it.” This might include accepting the natural effects of age or seeking out cosmetic treatments.

“Some women want to be a fabulous French grandmother who doesn’t ever do anything.” Everyone should have the freedom to approach it in the manner that best suits them.

She went on to say that self-care is “the most important thing,” saying that her daughter, Apple Martin, saw her mother appreciating her body and health throughout her childhood. “I think she understands how your mental state, your nutritional state, and your levels of exercise can all really do impact your ‘beauty.”
