A mother’s plea for help has gained widespread attention online after disturbing images of an injured kindergarten student from Pascagoula were posted online. Friends and family members of a kindergarten student in Pascagoula have set up a Facebook page as well as a GoFundMe account, saying that the kid was assaulted by another student while she was playing on the playground earlier this week.

Photos of her daughter Avalynn, who has just been given the name Avalynn, were uploaded to Facebook by the kid’s mother, Lacey Harris, shortly after the girl sustained injuries. Friends and family members of a kindergarten kid in Pascagoula have set up a Facebook page as well as a GoFundMe account with the assertion that the youngster was assaulted on the playground by another student earlier this week.

After her daughter Avalynn sustained injuries, the kid’s mother, Lacey Harris, took to Facebook to share pictures of her daughter. The girl has just been given the name Avalynn.

An description of the events that took place on Tuesday can be seen on the Facebook page titled “Justice for AvaLynn,” which Harris informs us is being managed by a friend of the family.

According to the page, AvaLynn reported to her mother that another kid at Arlington Elementary School kicked her in the face many times before she lost her balance and went down a slide on the playground. This website also identifies inadequate supervision as one of the contributing factors that led to the event.

On Friday, however, administrators from the Pascagoula School District issued a statement that presented a different version of events. The director of communications at Arlington Elementary School, Debbie Anglin, was quoted as saying, “Tuesday afternoon, a student was hurt while playing on the playground at Arlington Elementary School.” The administration of the school took action in response to the problem. The student got medical attention, and the parent was notified about the situation.

The statement continued by saying that there were no additional youngsters engaged in the event. The Pascagoula School District has not wavered in its dedication to ensuring the well-being of each and every one of its pupils.

We have it on good authority from the Pascagoula Police Department that a report was taken regarding the event on Tuesday. Lacey Harris has also stated that she set up a page on the website GoFundMe.com in order to seek money to cover the costs of her medical bills, missed income, travel costs, and legal fees. That page has already collected more than $5,000 in only two short days.

Harris has indicated to WLOX News that she will hold off on making an official statement to the media until she has had the opportunity to speak with legal representation.

It should be brought to everyone’s attention that the most recent post on the Facebook page for Justice for AvaLynn issues a warning about imitation fundraising sites that have been put up. The people who created the first page said that they do not have accounts on other social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, or Tumblr. Furthermore, it is unethical to ask for financial support via any of these online platforms.
