Keke Palmer is benefiting from Usher’s gesture of support.
The singer of “Let It Burn” went to Instagram in order to leave a remark on a post that Palmer had made about attending one of his residency shows in Las Vegas during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Palmer can be seen in her photos wearing a figure-hugging black dress with translucent panels that are worn over a thong bodysuit. This outfit combination is one that her boyfriend and the father of her kid, Darius Daulton Jackson, has been notoriously critical of.
Usher made it quite evident that he admires the Nope star, but he refrained from making any allusion to the recent dress controversy.
“You Are the Boss!!” “Thank you so much for coming,” he said as a remark on her photographs.

The controversy started on Wednesday evening when a video of Palmer performing at a recent Usher’s My Way: The Las Vegas Residency show while wearing the see-through dress went viral. The show takes place at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
Through a tweet that featured the R&B singer embracing Palmer while singing his famous song “There Goes My Baby,” Jackson gave the impression that he was making fun of Palmer for wearing the revealing outfit.
In a tweet that accompanied the video, Jackson said, “It’s the outfit though.. you a mom.”
After receiving criticism for his first remark, Jackson doubled down in a subsequent tweet, in which he said that Palmer’s appearance violated the “standards and morals” that he holds himself to be committed to.
“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife and mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others.” “This is my family, and this is what I stand for. I hold to certain moral and ethical principles in regard to what I think.
“I believe this concludes my argument,” he said.
Palmer seemed to provide a cryptic answer to the criticism in the caption of her Instagram image, in which she also provided a closer look at her outfit.
I really regret not taking more shots, but we were running behind schedule! I’m telling all of you right now that if you haven’t seen Usher yet, YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO GO! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! “Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks, and just absolutely iconic,” Palmer captioned the photograph that featured the singer-actress donning a black dress over a matching thong bodysuit for the event. The photo was taken at the Atlanta Theater Center.
Since that time, it would seem that Jackson has removed any and all references to Palmer from his Instagram account.
users who were paying close attention observed that Jackson disabled his Instagram account on Wednesday in response to the wrath he experienced for calling out his partner. Upon Jackson’s reappearance, users pointed out that photographs of Palmer had been taken from his account. Despite this, pictures of their newborn son Leodis are still shown on his grid.
Leodis Palmer Jackson, who was born in February, is the couple’s first child together. Both Palmer and Jackson are 29 years old.
