Ryan Lochte is a father of three children.

On Wednesday, the Olympic swimmer and his wife, Kayla Rae Reid, became parents to a newborn girl. This is the couple’s third child together.

In an interview with US Weekly that took place not long before she gave birth, Reid said how eager she and her partner were to expand their family to include a child.

“[We’re] over the moon. The model, who is married to Lochte and is the mother of his children Caiden, 5, and Liv, 3, told the publication that her family is “so excited.” “Ryan is such a wonderful father; I can’t wait to witness him raising three children.” Because he is so wonderful with children in general, children are drawn to him in droves.

“I am excited as well,” she said, “but I am more of the worrier, the strict one, and the not-as-fun parent, let’s just say.” It helps to maintain a healthy equilibrium.”

She said that the pair “easily” agreed upon the name Georgia June Lochte for their baby, and the couple made the decision to give her that name.

“Her middle name has a play on the timing of her birth and a family member,” Reid said to US Weekly before dishing about the baby girl’s uniquely decorated room. “Her middle name has a play on the timing of her birth and a family member.” “It’s pink and green tones with a southern eclectic feel, that is what I was going for,” she continued. “It’s what I was going for.”

During an interview on Good Morning America, Reid and Lochte broke the wonderful news that they would be having the couple’s third child in December of 2022. The announcement was made about the couple’s upcoming pregnancy.

“Ryan is such an amazing, hands-on dad.” This time around, it’s been incredibly lovely to just have him be there. He’s been a big help. It’s been this sort of wave of relaxation, when you realize, “Oh my gosh, we can actually enjoy this pregnancy together, and we can actually enjoy this newborn phase together.”

And although they’ve only recently welcomed baby Georgia, they haven’t placed a stop on their expanding family just yet, with Reid telling US Weekly ahead of her due date, “We aren’t sure. We aren’t sure. It depends. I feel that we will have our hands full with three, but you can never rule anything out!

The Olympic gold medallist and Reid started dating in 2016, and they tied the knot in January 2018, seven months after they had their first child together.
