On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the issue surrounding Dolce & Gabbana does not seem to be going away any time soon. Discussion continued during Thursday’s episode after Kourtney Kardashian revealed that she was hurt by her sister Kim Kardashian’s collaboration with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, which took place at Milan Fashion Week and four months after Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker in May 2022. The event took place four months after Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker.

Kourtney and Travis tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, in a breathtaking ceremony that was sponsored by the Italian designers and included a number of daring outfits from the designers’ archival collections. Kourtney said that Kim was exploiting her wedding as a “business opportunity,” and the tension is increasing as Kim’s Dolce line is having its very own runway display.

Kourtney is left behind in California feeling unhappy and wounded, even going so far as to declare that Travis and his children are her family when a producer asks whether any of Kourtney’s family members attended Travis’ restaurant opening. Kourtney’s sister Khloe Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner are in Milan supporting Kim, but Kourtney is left behind in California.

It is quite clear that Kim is not taking any prisoners either, as she has slung the barb that Kourtney has no friends and is afterwards curious as to who among her sister’s purported pals believes that Kim’s collection is “so weird.”

After Kourtney had her wedding to Travis in 2022, she began to feel resentful toward Kim because of their joint venture with Dolce & Gabbana. Saying that Kim phoned her to let her know that initially the transaction was an SKIMS cooperation between Kim’s shapewear firm and the Italian designers, she subsequently let her know that SKIMS was no longer engaged in the deal and said that Kim had called her to let her know this.

According to Kourtney, she phoned Kim and inquired whether she was contacting her to beg for permission, to which Kim allegedly responded, “I guess.”

Kourtney also claims, during a conversation she had with her sister Kendall Jenner, that she wasn’t originally offended by the collaboration until momager Kris asked the sisters to promote Kim’s collection on their social media accounts in the family group chat. Kourtney made these comments during a conversation she had with Kendall Jenner. Khloe, Kourtney’s sister, reportedly responded to Kourtney’s confusion over what she was expected to advertise by saying, “You know, Dolce, the people who did your wedding.” Kourtney claims that this was the statement that “triggered” her reaction to the situation.

She informed Kendall that she believed Kim is “legit copying my wedding,” alleging that Kim was unhappy during her wedding and that numerous people told her the mother of four was “spiraling” throughout the celebrations. She also claimed that Kim was imitating her wedding in a way that is “legit copying my wedding.” But instead of giving her credit or asking if she could attempt her own take on the “vibe,” Kourtney alleges that Kim utilized the wedding to have chats with Dolce & Gabbana about the prospective cooperation. Kim allegedly prioritized the money opportunity above Kourtney’s sentiments in this situation.

Kourtney breaks down in tears as she talks about the “abundance” of possibilities that the sisters are offered and says that Kim just “sees it as the dollar signs.”

Kourtney has said that she is not just furious with Kim, but also with Kris and the way the whole situation was handled. Kourtney is upset with both of them.

Kourtney alleges that Dolce wanted her and her sisters to wear clothes with lemon prints for her wedding, and that she insisted on retro designs from the 1990s, stating that Kim exactly duplicated that motif for her show. Kourtney made this accusation when chatting with her stylist. She went on to say that she didn’t plan to bring it up with Dolce & Gabbana since it was “business” for them, but she did mention that she anticipated more attention from Kim and Kris because they are family.

Kim has said that she did not negotiate a prospective agreement with Dolce and Gabbana during Kourtney’s wedding; rather, the designers were impressed with the classic Dolce outfits that Kim wore over the multi-day celebration. Kim was attending the wedding of her sister Kourtney.

She said that she had an extensive email correspondence in which she “begged” the designers to advance the collection so that it wouldn’t come out too close to the time of Kourtney’s wedding.

Kim also said that she had phoned Kourtney twice to discuss the collection, during which she had explained that despite the fact that the contract between SKIMS and Dolce had fallen through in the beginning, she was still pushing through with a collection.

In reference to the partnership, Kim asserts, “I couldn’t have been more mindful.” “I said, ‘Don’t do the Madonna collection, don’t do the lace collection, and don’t do anything Kourtney wore to her wedding out of respect for Kourtney.'”Kim continues by saying that she and Travis invited Kourtney to Milan and that she made every effort to let her know about the cooperation; nonetheless, she believes that she did not need Kourtney’s consent to accept the contract since she did not need Kourtney’s approval.

Kim also adds that Kourtney replicated one of her outfits from 2018 when she was celebrating her wedding, and in a preview for the next week, she brings up the fact that Kourtney even imitated her “wedding country” after she married Kanye West’s ex-wife in Italy in 2014, which Kim points out in the preview.
