Even though he was broke as a joke, the only thing that mattered to him was that he was reunited with his dog. It was revealed that a young homeless guy had been camping in front of an animal shelter in the hopes of locating his lost dog.
The guy was spotted by a worker from DeKalb County Animal Services who was arriving for work in the morning. He was laying on the pavement in front of their facility.
When they awakened him up, they found out that he had spent the rest of his money to pay the bus driver to bring him and his family back to him after his dog had gone missing. He waited for them to open the door so that he could check to see whether they had located her.
It was discovered that they had. The animal shelter had picked up a stray and moved it to their new facility which was located on the other side of town around two weeks earlier. After that, the kennel technician carried out a kind deed that quickly spread over the internet.
The employee at the shelter covered the cost of his train ticket so that he could visit the other location where Tata was staying.
“We see some wonderful reunions here at LifeLine’s DeKalb Animal Services, but this one was extra special,” the shelter stated of their reunion in reference to the occasion.
The homeless guy was so affected by the poignant reunion that the shelter gave him assistance via their outreach program, which helps homeless individuals and their pets. The shelter dropped all expenses since they were so moved by the event.
