The infamous Mike ‘The Situation’ The birthday celebrations for Sorrentino’s kid were a lot of fun!
The former cast member of Jersey Shore, who is now 40 years old, and his wife, Lauren, who is 38 years old, had a birthday party for their son Romeo Reign, who is now 2 years old, and they shared exclusive photographs with PEOPLE. The event was decked up with a variety of Peter Rabbit-themed elements, including cut-outs, balloons, sweets including a Peter Rabbit cake with many tiers, a DJ, a picture booth, and more.
The event was organized by Loona Productions, and the catering was provided by both Eat Clean Bro and Yeah Buddy BBQ. The event included an entrance with a garden-themed picture opportunity that was made out of carrots, radishes, and lettuce encircling the little boy’s name. In addition, there was a table devoted to desserts that included Peter Rabbit pastries and cake pops shaped like different types of veggies.
The pair tells PEOPLE that Romeo Reign’s second birthday party had a Peter Rabbit theme and that the whole thing was “such an adorable situation.” The day was made even more special by the company of loved ones and good friends. We can’t believe our adorable little guy is already 2 years old, but we’re excited to see what the future holds for him.
The stars of Jersey Shore: Family Reunion welcomed their second child together in January, a girl who they named Mia. Before Mia was born, Sorrentino wrote on Instagram about how gratifying he finds being a father and how much he is looking forward to being a parent.
He accompanied an Instagram picture carousel that included photographs of him and Romeo with the following phrase: “Of all the titles I’ve been privileged to have, ‘Dad’ has always been the best.” Romeo is his son.
In November, the pair posted a photo of themselves together on Instagram, with the woman wearing an all-black ensemble with a multi-strand pearl necklace and a costume headpiece. Laurens Skincare’s founder was also wearing a costume headpiece. Her look was finished off with a pink boa, which served as a subtle clue about the couple’s announcement.
The pair captioned the series of photos with the phrase “ITS OFFICIAL,” which featured a snapshot of them leaning in for a kiss as Sorrentino’s hand was resting on her belly.
After announcing that they were expecting their second child, the Sorrentinos decided to keep the identity of their unborn child a secret at first. “There are very few things in life that you get to keep as a special surprise, for some people,” Lauren said to individuals at the time. “I believe that it’s only a matter of time before we do share it publicly, but in the meantime, we’re extremely excited about it.”
