One evening, as Jen Edmondson was leaving her home, she saw something sticking its head out from the bushes that were located under her mailbox.

After giving the object a closer look, She saw a pair of kind-looking black eyes peering at her from above. A huge, white dog had been left all alone and needed assistance. Edmondson had no trouble figuring out what action was required of her.

According to what Edmondson told The Dodo, “When I saw that he was in serious need of aid, my emotions took control.”

She recorded a video of the stray dog and uploaded it to a community group on Facebook, asking users whether they had perhaps misplaced their animal companion. After that, she ran back to the house to get some food and water for the dog, and then she waited for someone to respond to her message.

It turned out that a lot of people had seen the dog about town, but nobody knew where he resided. It seemed as if he did not have a residence of any kind.

When a lovely waxing gibbous moon hung in the sky the night that Edmondson’s new foster kitten was discovered, she decided to give him the name Gibbous. Edmondson’s life has been much improved by the presence of Gibbous, which acts as a reliable and reassuring constant, much like the phases of the moon.

Edmondson described the dog in question as “the kindest, caring, and adorable dog I believe I have ever encountered.” “Of course he likes food, but his favorite thing to do is chase after the ATV.”

Edmondson is still undecided about whether or not she would adopt Gibbous in a legal capacity, but she is enjoying every second she spends getting to know him.

According to Edmondson, “He is quite autonomous and determines by himself whether or not he wants to do what you ask of him.” “He is simply an incredible love, a gentle giant, which you can tell just by glancing into his wide, expressive brown eyes,” the author of the book said. “He is just an absolute love.”

Gibbous, who has a bed to sleep in and plenty of love and attention from Edmondson, is also enjoying every bit of his life to the fullest.
