Midway through the month of February, Ronnie was brought into Dallas Animal Services after having been discovered living on the streets. He was obviously overjoyed to see everyone as soon as he arrived at the shelter, and it was plain that all he wanted was to be loved.
According to Marlo Clingman, the public relations coordinator at Dallas Animal Services, who spoke to The Dodo about the dog, “He was a cheerful, sociable, wiggly guy who was so eager to meet his human buddies.”
Although though it seemed as if Ronnie was doing OK during his stay at the shelter, the objective is always to get pets out of there as fast as possible and into loving foster or permanent homes as soon as possible. The day when Ronnie’s turn finally came around came after he had waited very patiently for it.
Clingman shared that when the boy finally got to meet his foster mother, Ashley, he was overjoyed. As soon as he got into their car, he was grinning broadly and wagging his finger nonstop.
When Ronnie and his new foster mom were on their way home from the shelter, Ronnie’s new foster mom took a picture of the two of them, and it was at that moment that she realized how content Ronnie actually was.
Clingman described the man’s grin as being so broad that it prevented him from keeping his eyes open.
Ronnie couldn’t believe that he was finally going to be a part of someone’s family, and he grinned so widely that it was almost as if his teeth were going to fall out of his mouth.
The happy-looking puppy has made himself at home in his foster family’s backyard and is thriving in his new environment. He is very well-mannered, and whenever he has the opportunity, he showers everyone around him with hugs and kisses. He is going to be the best pet for a very fortunate family, and his foster family can’t wait to find out who will end up adopting him so that they can give him his forever home.
Clingman said that “Ronnie would be delighted to have a large canine buddy to run about with or at least a companion to have playdates with.” “Ronnie likes to play,” and “Ronnie would be pleased to have a big doggie buddy to romp around with.” “He has an equal amount of affection for both men and women, and he is very grateful to his foster parents for rescuing him from the shelter. He has met a toddler and did great — he gave him a big sloppy, doggie kiss!”
Ronnie will, in due time, locate the house that he will call his permanent abode. In the meanwhile, he is happy and content in the foster family he was placed in since he is finally receiving all of the love he deserves.
