The concept of natural beauty is very important to Christie Brinkley.
The model, who is 69 years old, reclined on a sandy beach and posed for a series of natural beauty photographs while wearing a pair of relaxed, torn flair jeans and a cozy tan-colored coat. Several of the photographs included a peek at the model’s silver hair.
“Grey sky! Gray hair! “On Sunday, she made light of the situation in a long post on Instagram in which she displayed the photos.
She continued by saying, “The second you see gray hair, it creates the dilemma, much as when you trim bangs..to retain or not to keep?” She was not scared to speak about the gray roots that were beginning to appear in her hair.
She went on to say that “both are simply a personal choice or a pleasant change of pace,” and she quipped that the “verdict is still out” when it came to determining whether or not she should let her roots grow out or go with a new hair color.
“My kid thinks it looks amazing, but I believe I may want to wait till it’s more like the silver whitecaps than the gray surf itself!” she shared with me. “My son thinks it looks cool.”
The mother of three previously discussed getting older in an interview that took place in April of last year. She said that the key is to embrace it with a good attitude.
“It is entirely dependent on the spirit you exude and the energy that you bring into the room with you, both of which are delivered by you. It is what will serve as your defining characteristic, “she revealed it. “Put anti-aging and any related topics out of your mind. It all comes down to being grateful.”
She went on to say that “And when you find something to be thankful for in whatever position you’re in, and anywhere you may find yourself, that correlates to happiness,” and that “happiness and positive energy are things that you can share with other people.”
Brinkley is a parent to three children: her daughter Alexa Ray Joel, who is 37 years old; her son Jack Brinkley Cook, who is 27; and her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook, who is 24. She instills the same mentality in all of her children.
Sailor said that her mother has instilled in her the value of showing gratitude in all aspects of life.
“Her most important piece of advice for everyone who is going to be working on a set is to just try to be as nice as possible. I make it a point to say hello to everybody and everyone that is in the room. And I always try to address everyone in the room,” Brinkley-Cook. “Because, you know, my job is pretty much the simplest there is,” the speaker said.
