Ryan Reynolds made an appearance on Good Morning America on August 4 to promote his newest movie, Free Guy. During the interview, he mentioned his three children, whose names are Inez, James, and Betty respectively.
“Today was the first day that they asked me, ‘You’re going to be on TV today?'” “Today was the first day that they asked me” When questioned by the presenters of GMA whether his children are aware of the popularity that he shares with his wife Blake Lively, Reynolds responded in the affirmative. I responded by saying, “Yeah, I’m going to be on Good Morning America.” They seem to be asking, “What’s so great about it?”
After that, Reynolds stated that his daughters approached him and asked if he might mention them on the program. My response was something along the lines of, ‘Sure, I’ll say hey to you folks.’ However, they asked me to scratch behind my ear in order to greet them. Betty, Inez, and James all wanted Reynolds to transmit coded messages to them while he was hosting GMA. To tell you the truth, this is a fantastic recommendation.
The conversation proceeded with Reynolds stating, “Nezzi asked me to touch [my sleeve].” “And at that point, I was thinking to myself, ‘Is Robin Roberts going to be stealing a second base?'” After hearing this, the cohosts of Good Morning America, including Roberts, erupted into fits of laughter. After that, Reynolds turned to the camera and addressed his daughters by saying, “Hi, boys! How have you been? Hello!”

Although Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively want to keep most aspects of their family life private, the couple has spoken publicly in the past about their experiences as parents. For instance, in June, Reynolds discussed how his girls encouraged him to be more open about his mental health and how he used that motivation in his conversation.
“Part of it is because I have three children at home, and part of my role as a parent is to model behaviors and model what it’s like to feel sad, and model what it’s like to be worried or furious,” she said. “Part of it is that I have three daughters at home.” That there is room for all of these things,” he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “The house in which I was raised wasn’t actually one that was designed with me in mind. And it’s not to suggest that my parents were irresponsible or anything like that; it’s just that they came from a different generation.”
