Despite the fact that the organization was first established to aid in the rescue of stray dogs in the city of Dallas, Texas, it has now developed into a rescue of last option for dogs who are very unlikely to be adopted.
A woman takes in a “unwanted” husky despite the fact that the dog has a tumor that affects the whole nasal cavity and face.
Recently, a dog that was described as a “last resort” made its way to Dawson from a refuge in San Antonio. Serenity is the name of the Husky, and her appearance is what sets her apart from other dogs. The dog has an aggressive tumor that has “invaded her nasal cavity and gone up over her eye sockets and skull,” according to the veterinarian.
The tumor has invaded and damaged a significant number of the bones in her face. Despite having a tumor, Dawson was aware that Serenity deserved the chance to battle and the best life that was available to her. Dawson recounted the following: “She gets up, bends in with this massive tumor, and does this bump to me, like dogs do the bump, and licked my face.” “At that moment, I knew that we were going to battle to the death to do anything we could to preserve her because she still had some life left in her,” the narrator says. “She still had the life left in her.”
Up to this point, Serenity has really sought assistance from an oncologist, an internal medicine expert, and a critical care specialist. She is able to see, breathe, and eat, but the tumor cannot be removed and there is nothing that can be done to treat it. Despite the fact that Dawson want to have access to much more knowledge, she will continue to care for Serenity and ensure that she has an incredible life.
People started mailing Serenity gifts and goodies after pictures of her from a professional photoshoot recently went popular on the internet. Serenity is a really adorable puppy. We hope that everything works out for her!
