Shannon, Macon’s mother, recounts that the family household was rocked when love at first sight transpired. She recalls that after a second, she slept off while lying in bed, and that after a second, she found herself standing next to her mattress, attempting to figure out what had occurred. The family was only able to see by the light of a fire that swiftly spread across their stable since they did not have access to power. The situation was made much more difficult by the fact that the barn doors were shut and there was not time to locate the key.
I literally just bol ted out the door. Macon said, “I had nothing on my body—no clothing, no shoes, nothing.” The brave young man did not hesitate and immediately leapt into a neighboring four-wheel drive utility vehicle, which he then drove right through the wall of the barn. He explained his actions to the local NBC station WKYC Channel 3 News by saying, “I simply hopped in our Gator and I just ran it straight through the door.”
He raced forward like Rambo, opened the door at the far end of the stalls, and yel led, “Mom, here…”
Shannon explained that this was the method by which we were able to move the horses.
The fire did not harm any of the 14 horses who were housed in the barn, but it did entirely demo lish the structure.
She said that having a barn was a goal for the whole family. In addition to that, she said that her family and she had constructed the barn with their own personal weaponry. When she said that they may construct another barn on the same land, it was clear that she was confirming the will with her expression.
