Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are two of the most well-known names in music, so it’s no surprise that they fell in love so immediately.

Their shared love of music drew them together, despite the fact that he was married at the time. Their romance eventually ended.

The two performers first met in 2005 at CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert, when they were introduced.

She was attracted to him from the beginning, but he dismissed her sentiments due to his married situation. Shelton, too, was instantly smitten by the “Drunk” singer.

Lambert subsequently said in an interview that she knew Shelton was married and had seen his wedding picture in Country Weekly. She continued:

“I should have known better like this is off-limits.” For God’s sake, my folks are private investigators. I’ve seen affairs my whole life. I, of all others, should know better.”

Despite this, she couldn’t ignore the “inevitable spark” they experienced when they first met. Shelton divorced his wife, Kaynette Williams, a year later, and began dating Lambert.

Shelton proposed to Lambert in 2010 but did so while honoring Lambert’s father. On May 9, the “God’s Country” singer phoned Lambert’s father and asked for his approval before proposing with a diamond and platinum ring he picked himself.

“He knew exactly what I wanted since we’ve been together for five years,” Lambert added, “but it’s so much more perfect than I could have selected alone.” The proposal was a low-key affair, but one that the country singer adored.

Aside from that one event, Lambert had a banner year in 2010, scoring her first number one song, “White Liar,” in January and winning both Top Female Vocalist and Album of the Year at the ACM Awards.

The pair married in 2011, but problems soon arose in their relationship. They were the subject of breakup rumors in 2013, which they rejected.

The “Voice” judge claimed at the time that his wife had access to his phone anytime she wanted to verify that the couple had no secrets. He said, ”

“That’s the level of trust we have.” There are no hidden agendas. “Go rummage through my drawers or my computer if you feel like you need to,” I’ll say, which is a good thing since I don’t want her to have any concerns.”

The pair seemed unfazed by the rumors in 2014, even laughing about the rumored divorce. “I guess I’ve had like five pairs of twins in the past two years,” Lambert said.

Shelton and Stefani married at a modest chapel on the artist’s property in Oklahoma in July 2021. The pair also used social media to commemorate their third wedding anniversary.

Lambert acknowledged that marriage was difficult, but said it was also a wonderful gift that should be celebrated. She continued, ”

“We make every effort to be together.” On our anniversary, I wouldn’t want to be on separate sides of the nation! That period of time is sacrosanct.”

But, before long, the pair confirmed the rumors: there were problems in paradise. Gwen Stefani joined season nine of “The Voice” as a coach in April 2014, with Blake Shelton.

Shelton and Lambert declared the end of their four-year marriage less than a year later. They said in a press release:

“We are genuine individuals with real families, friends, and coworkers. As a result, we respectfully request privacy and compassion in this very sensitive situation.”

The couple said that they were surprised by the split and that they had to make the difficult choice to go on with their lives apart.

Before and after the statement’s distribution, Shelton and Lambert kept silent on the subject. They had 10 wonderful years together, including their courting period.

Shelton started dating his “The Voice” co-star Gwen Stefani not long after the couple broke up. On November 4, 2015, Shelton’s publicist confirmed the couple’s connection, saying:

“Gwen and Blake have been friends for a long time and are now dating.”

Their divorces and life situations, which happened to coincide, drew them closer together, according to the couple.

Shelton and Lambert ultimately discussed his divorce in 2020. “If I’m Honest,” one of his songs, disclosed details of their breakup.

He said, “Perhaps not details.” “However, you get the picture. It’s my divorce record, but it’s also, maybe, more importantly, my record of falling in love.”

His second divorce, undoubtedly, had such a bad impact on him that he reached rock bottom. “She’s Got a Way With Words,” one of his songs, is about a girlfriend who lies and cheats, and despite the fact that Shelton didn’t compose it, no one can say it doesn’t sound like his relationship. He expressed his thoughts as follows:

“You have to get it out of your system when you have a shattered heart – at least when I do.” You want sympathy from others. “I was at the very depths of hell.”

There was, however, someone who really understood him. He remembered, “I’ll never forget that day.” “Gwen, who I had never met before, had these large tears in her eyes as I looked at her. “Wow, she really cares about me,” I thought.

“Gavin Rossdale, the singer of “Candyman,” had just divorced her. Shelton and her eventually became close when she talked to him alone.

As time went on, their friendship became stronger, from letting each other know they understood one other to checking in once a week through email. He expressed his thoughts as follows:

“The next thing I know, she’s all I’m thinking about, and I’m wondering whether she feels the same way about me.”

Shelton and Stefani married in a tiny wedding in Oklahoma in July 2021 “On his property, an artist built a little chapel. Stefani’s children and family, on the other hand, adore her new spouse, which has a favorable impact on her. She expressed herself as follows:

“[My style] has never been more feminine.” It’s probably because I’m head over heels in love with my partner. Now that I’ve allowed that side of me out […],” she says.

Only three months after courting, Lambert marries Brendan McLoughlin, a New York City cop. Their love blossomed despite the fact that he was married at the time of their first encounter. The couple was reportedly attempting to have a kid in 2022.
