A dog’s ability to recognize and comprehend when someone requires assistance is remarkable. It’s simply written into their genetic makeup. Not only do they recognize this, but they frequently go above and beyond in their efforts to assist. It’s one of the reasons they’re referred to as “Man’s Best Friend,” after all.

The dogs in this story serve as an excellent example of this. A group of people screaming could be heard nearby one day as Ulnas Chowdry was walking down the street. He then heard some dogs barking and noticed that they were defending a blanket with their lives, which he described as “awesome.” It was clear that the dogs were attempting to attract someone’s attention while remaining on the blankets.. Much to the man’s dismay, he discovered that he was carrying a child.

The dogs wouldn’t leave this child’s side and did everything they could to keep her warm until help arrived on scene. Their tails wagged and their ears perked up as the man approached, relieved that help was on the way. As other neighbors arrived to feed her and wait for the police to arrive, the dogs stayed with the child until they were taken away by the police. It didn’t matter whether or not the dogs followed the tiny girl to her police vehicle! While no one knows how or why the infant ended up in the shelter, one thing is certain: these dogs are a big part of the reason she’s alive today. The fact that they are heroes cannot be disputed.
