In the first year of Pixel’s life, his mother noted that he was more expressive than the majority of other cats. He looked to have a beautiful grin on his face all of the time, and that magnificent smile was infectious. In addition, he seemed to enjoy the process of being shot, which, when paired with his infectious grin, proved to be a successful combination.
As Pixel’s mother, Alyson Kalhagen, told the publication The Dodo, “He would grin and do other crazy expressions whenever I tried to take photographs of him.” “At first, I wanted to show off his more elegant, ‘luxury’ side, so I didn’t bother with the amusing expressions at all. However, I realized that I may as well start sharing his hilarious photographs as well, and that’s how we ended up where we are now.
Everyone, obviously, fell in love with Pixel as soon as Kalhagen started sharing photographs of his beautiful grin on social media, and it’s easy to see why. Pixel has become well-known for his goofy grin, which only serves to increase his opportunities to participate in photo shoots, which he enjoys.

All he knows is that he likes posing for photos, receiving gifts, and smiling at the people he cares about, and that’s about all he needs to know about the world around him.
