An individual who is now competing on the program “Survivor” has reported that Sonja Christopher, who was the very first person to be eliminated from the competition, has passed away.
Liz Wilcox, who is now starring in the 46th season of “Survivor,” which is currently airing, made the unfortunate announcement on X Friday. She said that she had met Sonja during the course of the Christmas holiday and posted a picture of the two of them chatting on FaceTime on her account.
“Today, the legend herself Sonja Christopher of Season One passed away,” she says. “She was a part of the story.” On the occasion of Christmas, I had the pleasure of meeting her. There was a lot of pride and love that she had for Survivor and the things that the game had brought into her life. I really hope that you are singing and playing your heart out someplace wonderful, Sonja.
People should not bring flowers, but rather money to the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church in Walnut Creek, California, the Cancer Support Community in San Francisco, or the Sjogren’s Foundation, according to Liz, who is speaking on behalf of the family. The reason for her loss was not disclosed by her.

Sonja was a contestant on the television show “Survivor: Borneo” in the year 2000. Despite the fact that she got along well with her colleagues, she was eliminated from the competition after her team lost against other teams in the first week. The fact that she was the first person to ever be voted off the island was due to the fact that she was the one who got the boot.
Her debut on the series was, in a way, historic, and many people still remember her to this day.
It is well known that Christopher played her ukulele on the program, and she seemed to have pleasant memories of her time spent on “Survivor” despite the fact that she left the show early. In 2020, she told EW that the whole experience provided her with a platform to collect money for organizations that she passionately believed in.
