By posting a fresh video on social media, the tattoo artist gave her followers an inside look into her baptism.
Kat Von D is commemorating a significant achievement in her life.
A post that the tattoo artist and former beauty entrepreneur made on Instagram on Wednesday indicated that she had just undergone the sacrament of baptism. She is 41 years old. Fans can see the former Miami Ink and LA Ink actress wearing a white baptismal gown in the video that was published on social media. They can also see her being dipped backwards into a pool that is located inside of a church.
A straightforward symbol of a cross was included in the post’s caption.
It has been more than a year since she announced on Instagram in July 2022 that she would be parting ways with things concerning witchcraft, magic, and fortune-telling. The ceremony takes place today.
“I don’t know if any of you have been going through changes in your lives right now, but in the last few years I’ve come to some pretty significant realizations — many of them centered around the fact that I got a lot of things wrong in my past. I don’t know if any of you have been going through changes in your lives right now, but in the previous few years I’ve come to some pretty important realizations. She added, “Today I went through my entire book collection and threw out any books that just don’t fit in with who I am and who I want to be.” “I have always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I simply had to ask myself, what is my connection with this content? And the reality is, I really don’t want to let any of these things into the life of our family, even if they come dressed in lovely covers and are gathering dust on my shelf. ”
She offered a word of caution, stating that “in no way is this post designed to put anyone down if you’re into this stuff, because I think we are all on our own journey, and I love everyone regardless of where they might be at.”
“But right now,” she continued, “it’s never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle taking place.” Having said all of this, I want to extend extra love to everyone out there, and I hope that despite some of these challenging times, you are also making significant changes in your life!
Since the year 2018, Von D has been happily married to Rafael Reyes. Later on in same year, the couple became parents to a boy whom they called Leafar. In 2021, she revealed that she and her family would be relocating permanently to Indiana and that she would be closing her tattoo business in Los Angeles.
