Living in the spotlight may come with wealth, glamour, and access to high society, but it also brings relentless judgment and scrutiny—something Paris Hilton has dealt with for most of her life.

Recently, that scrutiny took an especially cruel turn when online trolls began mocking the appearance of her infant son.

In 2023, the TV personality and business mogul felt compelled to defend her 9-month-old son, Phoenix Barron, after people on social media made negative remarks about the size of his head.

Paris, known for her bold and confident demeanor, quickly stepped in to protect her child and shut down the hateful comments.

Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed Phoenix via surrogate, making him their first child together (Carter also shares a daughter named Evie from a past relationship). As new parents, the pair has been embracing the highs and challenges of raising a baby with deep love and commitment.

During a family trip to New York, Paris shared a photo holding Phoenix—prompting several hurtful comments about the baby’s head size. Messages like “Man has a lot of thoughts in there” and “I heard this baby was lab-created. She didn’t carry it” appeared, with others echoing similar negativity.

Paris directly responded to the cruel remarks, saying: “There are some sick people in this world. My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, he has seen a doctor—he just has a large brain.”

She went on to add that her family has been incredibly supportive: “[My parents] are absolutely obsessed with him. I’m always calling my mom and my sister Nicky for advice. I’m very lucky to have such a close family and a strong support system.”

This situation highlights that even public figures aren’t shielded from online hostility. While children should never be targets for criticism, Paris’ response demonstrates the fierce love and protection she has for her son.
