TMZ was informed by Harry Gold, Shatner’s representative, that… The famous actor was examined after he was found to have an elevated blood sugar level at his residence in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening.

The emergency medical care professionals arrived in a LAFD ambulance after Shatner contacted them as a precaution to ask for assistance.

Gold said that Shatner had been transferred to a nearby hospital to have a checkup and that the actor was now back home. “He’s fine,” Gold added.

Meanwhile, Shatner, who is 94 years old, has been maintaining a busy schedule recently, despite his age. He has been making public appearances and working on projects that are connected to his role, Captain Kirk.
