Both Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Tebow are overjoyed to announce that they have become parents for the first time.
Following the announcement of the birth of their daughter, Daphne Reign, earlier today, the couple is now releasing further photographs of their new little girl.
The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on Sunday, July 6, as stated in a statement that they made on Instagram on Monday, July 7.
This is where our daughter is! According to the first announcement post, the couple stated, “We could not be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life.” This was written next to black-and-white photographs that were taken during the birth.
In the message, the pair expressed their gratitude to their whole medical team, which included their physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff members, for providing assistance to them “in the best way possible during my labor and delivery.”
We are grateful to everyone who has been praying with us in anticipation of her birth. They said in their message, “We are so incredibly grateful for all of the love and support that we have known and experienced.”
Daphne Reign Tebow is the name that the couple named their baby, and they disclosed this information in a subsequent post on Instagram.
There were some stunning photographs in the post that showed the little child covered in a white blanket and wearing a ribbon that had her name written in cursive characters.
A close-up photograph revealed that the infant was dozing off as she was adorned with a large pink bow that was placed on her head.
Daphne was born at 2:02 p.m., weighing 8.85 pounds, and measuring 21 inches, as seen in another picture that was included in the article.
Additionally, there were photos that showed her being lovingly kissed on the cheek by her father and being held in the arms of her mother respectively. In a delightful photograph of the family, the infant was being cradled by her mother as her father watched over both of them.
The description of the image revealed that ever since Demi-Leigh was a little child, the name Daphne has had a special place in her heart.
Daphne, my mother’s sister, took on the role of a grandmother to me even though I never had the opportunity to meet my mother’s mother. “She was a tiny, kind, and strong South African woman who always had shortbread in the house, was the epitome of grit and grace, loved Jesus, had the voice of an angel, and made everyone feel made to feel like they were seen and special,” the post continued. “She was so special to my mom and I.”
“When I was little, I would often tell my mother, ‘I want to be exactly like Ouma Daphne one day.’ Since I was a little girl, I have had a deep affection for this particular name, and for as long as I can remember, I have always said that if I ever had the good fortune to have a daughter, I would give her the name Daphne since I have always liked it.
Demi-Leigh shared her thoughts on her middle name, Reign, stating that it is “a name that holds so much meaning.” The adorable young child who Tim and I have loved passionately for many years served as the inspiration for this piece.
“But more than anything, her name reminds us that when you’re adopted into God’s family, you become a child of the King,” according to the online article. Tim, who is 37 years old, and Demi-Leigh, who is 30 years old, first met in 2018. They were married in January of 2020. In January of 2025, they announced that they were expecting their first child together. In March of the same year, they disclosed that they were expecting a baby girl.
