On Monday evening, the rapper who is contracted to Top Dawg Entertainment was presented with the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, and she immediately went into a political rant while she was on the stage. condemning what he termed “Trump’s ruthless attacks” and pointing out that the administration was covering up the acts by claiming that they were “law and order policies.”
Doechii adds that she was unable to ignore the reality around her, and according to what we told you before, BET went on with the awards ceremony at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles just a few hours after violent skirmishes between protestors and police.
Doechii concluded her acceptance speech by expressing her sympathy with persons of African, Latino, and transgender descent, as well as the people in Gaza, and by pushing for a life free of fear for everyone.
