Taylor Odlozil has begun to investigate the possibility of dating once again, almost two years after the passing of his wife, Haley, who passed away due to ovarian cancer.

In a recent episode of Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast, the influencer acknowledged that he has made it possible for himself to be open to the possibility of forming new relationships. Since Odlozil first met his late wife, Haley, when he was 15 years old, he stated that dating is something he has never done before during the two-part talk.

“I’ve been on a number of potential dates. In the episode that was issued on Tuesday, May 27, he shared his thoughts with Chrisley, saying, “You know, seeing what’s out there.” He went on to explain how he has rapidly realized the significant difference between seeking to begin something fresh now and sharing history with Haley, with whom he also has a kid named Weston, who is six years old.

It’s a really pure love when you meet someone at the age of 15, and you grow up together, and you’re each other’s first because you’re so young,” she said. You are each other’s support. You merge into one,” he reminded me. “When you are in your thirties and attempting to date, a lot of individuals have come to terms with their past experiences and their baggage, and they are no longer pure. It is only a section of it. There is nothing technically wrong with it; it’s just that I’m not accustomed to it, which is why I’m having a hard time with it.

He said that he is “learning the hard way” that getting a date requires a conscious effort on his part. “I was under the impression that you meet someone and you immediately know,” he said in response. To be honest, you don’t. You are going to have to put in some work, and it is going to be terrifying.

Odlozil also noted that the people in his life and those who follow him online are “always looking” to see whether he is with someone, which adds a certain amount of pressure to him and his efforts to find a romantic partner.

Odlozil stated that his first date following Haley’s death was not necessarily “hard,” but rather “different.” Chrisley inquired about the difficulty of his first date after Haley’s passing, and Odlozil responded appropriately.

“Sometimes I do feel like, in the moving on phase of dating and all that, I feel like sometimes I take four steps forward and two steps back,” he stated. “It’s a strange feeling.” Sometimes I get the impression that I am in a wonderful position, and then I have the realization, “God, how am I going to make room in this heart for someone else?”

When Haley was only a few weeks away from being married to Odlozil in 2015, she received the news that she had Stage IIIC ovarian cancer. In July of 2023, he made the announcement on Instagram that she had passed away at the age of thirty.
