**Rep. Jasmine Crockett Under FEC Investigation Over Alleged Fraudulent Donations**

In a controversy drawing sharp attention across the political spectrum, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is under federal investigation following allegations of suspicious campaign contributions received through ActBlue, a major fundraising platform for Democrats. The complaint was brought to light by her Republican challenger, attorney Sholdon Daniels, who shared new developments on social media platform X.

The investigation stems from a complaint filed on March 26, 2025, by the conservative Coolidge-Reagan Foundation, prompting the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to launch an official probe into Crockett’s campaign finances. The complaint focuses on donations attributed to 73-year-old Texas resident Randy Best, which allegedly total over \$16,000. However, Daniels claims that when he spoke with Mr. Best’s wife, she had no knowledge of the donations.

Daniels posted a video on X on March 11, 2025, documenting his visit to the Bests’ home to learn more. In the video, he expressed skepticism: “It’s strange that someone from this area would donate so much to a candidate from another district. Let’s find out what’s really going on.”

After speaking with Mrs. Best, Daniels reported that she was unaware of any contributions made in her or her husband’s name. “This man is a 73-year-old retiree, not working, and yet there are records showing he donated over \$16,000 to Jasmine Crockett’s campaign,” Daniels said. “His wife told me they didn’t know about any such charges.”

Daniels, who lives in Plano, emphasized the geographic disconnect, noting that the Bests reside outside Crockett’s district, making the donations even more unusual.

The FEC is now investigating whether this instance is part of a broader pattern. The complaint filed by the Coolidge-Reagan Foundation claims that Rep. Crockett’s campaign, “Jasmine for US,” accepted more than \$870,000 in donations via ActBlue, raising concerns that other contributions may also have been made in the names of unsuspecting individuals.

Dan Backer, attorney for the Coolidge-Reagan Foundation, warned that Democrats might try to shift blame, saying, “They may claim these donations came in through ActBlue without their knowledge. But that doesn’t excuse ignoring warning signs.”

In response, ActBlue defended its practices, insisting they comply with all laws and that the allegations are politically driven. However, both ActBlue and Rep. Crockett’s office declined to comment when contacted by *The Daily Signal*.

Sholdon Daniels’ original video can be viewed online, where he continues to call for transparency and accountability.
