An alteration that Meghan Trainor made to the lyrics of her body acceptance song, “All About that Bass,” in order to include a reference to her recent breast augmentation surgery caused some of her followers to get outraged.

During her performance at the annual Wango Tango event hosted by 102.7 KIIS-FM in Huntington Beach, California, on May 12, Trainer 31 altered the words to her successful song from 2014, changing them from “Yeah, it’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two” to “Yeah, it’s pretty clear, I got some new boobs.”

Trainor recently discussed her breast augmentation with PEOPLE, stating, “I feel so girly and I love it, and it makes me so much more confident and it’s like the best decision I ever made.” Trainor’s breast augmentation was successfully performed.

She told People, “Every time I take a shower, I manage to smile.” Previously, the singer known for her hit song “Mother” said that her breasts “grew huge, they got little, they got large, they got small… As a result of my weight loss, I now have sags, which are similar to droopy sacks that are used as breasts.

A recent revelation made by the artist revealed that she has been using the GLP-1 injectable Mounjaro in order to help her lose weight. The medication known as tirzepatide, which is used to treat type 2 diabetes, is sold under this brand name. It received approval from the FDA in 2023 for use in weight reduction.

“I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,” Trainor stated in an Instagram post. Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, have two boys, Riley, who is four years old, and Barry, who is 22 months old.

According to comments made on KIIS-FM’s TikTok of her performance, several of Trainor’s fans were dissatisfied with her new style, which consisted of a bright pink two-piece outfit with glittery details. Additionally, her lyrics were altered.

One remark said, “The story of the entertainment industry is that big is beautiful until you’re rich enough to change it.” These words describe the industry.

“The bass is completely gone. Still another person said, “Ozempic took it all,” referring to the diabetic medicine that has become the catchall name for GLP-1 prescription.

Another commenter said, “She, in fact, was not all about that bass,” while another commenter commented, “I feel that she just morally shouldn’t perform this song anymore.”

Others took issue with her performance itself, claiming that she had “no energy” and providing an explanation that the weight-loss medicine was to blame for her lackluster performance. One person said, “She’s got no energy now, she’s too thin,” while another person added, “Go girl, give us nothing.”

On the other hand, there were supporters who backed Trainor by stating, “All about that bass was released ten years ago; it is unthinkable that a woman’s body would change in that span of time! 😅”

One more person said, “She appears to be in good health and content with herself, and that is the only thing that matters.”
