On April 28, at around 3:50 p.m. local time, a girl of 23 years of age was found dead in an apartment located in the southeast section of Houston, according to the Houston Police Department. When officers arrived to the apartment complex in Texas to do a welfare check, they discovered Odunsi and the other individual, according to the police. In the event that Odunsi’s family was unable to get in touch with her, a friend of her father’s had reportedly contacted the authorities, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The responding cops found blood on the back patio of the apartment after knocking on the door of the apartment and not obtaining a response. They then entered the apartment after they found the blood.

Upon entering, they saw Odunsi lying on the floor of the kitchen. A number of knife wounds had been inflicted against her. After that, officers went to the bedroom and found the male, who had at least one stab wound, according to the police officer.

It was determined that Odunsi had passed away at the scene, and the individual was sent to the hospital in serious condition.

Odunsi had been using TikTok to count down the days before she graduated from nursing school. She had been posting videos to her account @tamidollars, which had over 30,000 followers, in which she discussed her experiences as a nursing student preparing for her graduation.

Odunsi expressed her joy about her forthcoming graduation in her last TikTok video, which was uploaded on April 21. In the video, she danced with lettering that said, “23 years old.” “Beginning to look human again,” “Beginning to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in two weeks,” “Vacations booked,” “Summer is fourteen days away,”

The death of Odunsi occurred “just days before she was set to graduate from university,” as stated in a GoFundMe page that was established to generate funds for the purpose of returning Odunsi’s remains to her family in the United Kingdom and covering the costs associated with her burial.

Her passing is described as “an unimaginable loss at a moment that should have marked the beginning of a bright and promising future,” according to the spokesperson for the fundraising event.

The website also mentions that Odunsi, who was referred to as “a beautiful soul, full of light, ambition, and kindness,” relocated from the United Kingdom to the United States in order to “pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, dedicating herself to a life of care and service.”
