She reportedly attempted to stab her father in self-defense before locking herself and her siblings in her room and phoning 911. This was after her father allegedly threatened to “finish her” and then “finish the kids” to her mother. The ten-year-old girl claimed she tried to stab her father.
After slashing his wife’s throat in front of his daughter, who was ten years old at the time, a man from Oregon now faces the possibility of spending years in prison. God be praised, and with the assistance of the young lady, her mother made it through.
According to a news statement issued by the Multnomah County District Attorney, Manuel Jesus Huchin-Interian entered a guilty plea to the charge of Assault in the Second Degree Constituting Domestic Violence on April 18. After that, he was given a sentence of seventy months, which is equivalent to five years and ten months, immediately followed by three years of “post prison supervision.”
The Senior Deputy District Attorney for Multnomah County, Robin Beck Skarstad, stated in the statement that “this case underscores the devastating impact that domestic violence has on children in the home.” “The victim’s young daughter showed bravery and resilience that truly inspires us to work hard every day to interrupt the cycle of abuse and to keep families safe.”
Dad stabbed his mother.
On June 7, 2021, the police were engaged after receiving numerous 911 calls to the same place. One of the calls came from a 10-year-old child who informed them that her “parents were arguing and dad stabbed mom.” The release states that the police eventually became involved.
Reportedly, the child informed the authorities that she had taken a knife and attempted to stab her father in self-defense. However, the weapon turned out to be too dull, and she rushed to her room with her younger siblings and shut the door.
Following that, she called 911 and remained in the room until her father finished leaving the home. “Rendering aid to her mom,” she remained on the line with 911 until emergency personnel arrived, according to the district attorney’s office, which says that she emerged from the building at that time.
After the police came, they said that the woman seemed to be “lifeless,” as she was laying face down in a pool of blood and had a severe cut on her neck that measured eight inches. According to the announcement, it was immediately established that the injuries were life-threatening, and it was unknown whether or not she would live having sustained such injuries.
The victim did, in the end, survive, and she was able to identify her assailant to the authorities, which provided support for the account provided by her daughter. She allegedly told authorities that he assaulted her after accusing her of cheating, and that he informed her that he was going to “finish her” and then “finish the kids.” This information was included in the press release from the investigation.
After the incident, Huchin-Interian rushed away, but he was eventually found in San Francisco, where he was taken into custody when March 2024 rolled around. The date of his sentence is set for the 28th of April.
