Avett Ray Meness, who is now six years old and is from Ohio, is a musical prodigy who was already able to play the piano by the time he was one year old. CBS News reports that the kid was born with a near-complete lack of vision.
“When he could finally get to the piano by himself, he played ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,'” recounts Avett’s mother, Sarah Moore. “He really got into the spirit of things.” When we met him, he was just 11 months old at the time.
In the time since then, the little child has been taking piano lessons, during which he is learning both new methods and traditional tunes from his instructor.
