With only a “Hi,” 5-year-old Sophie Fatu won over the judges of America’s Got Talent.

Season 13’s tiny Sophie, one of the show’s youngest Acts, stunned fans with her irresistibly cute voice and won over the judges in no time.

“There are so many people, it’s overwhelming!” she made an endearing exclamation that she couldn’t control.

The 5-year-old began her unforgettable performance of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” after a brief period of being on Simon Cowell’s good side (Sophie disclosed that she had a dream in which he handed her a Golden Buzzer). Seeing Shirley Temple live on stage was like seeing a living legend.

Sophie had all the hallmarks of an aspiring star: a charming voice, impeccable vibrato, and, most significantly, an intensity of emotion in her singing that would have made Sinatra proud.

The performance is among the all-time greats of kid “My Way” versions, alongside Kelly Clarkson’s son’s legendary rendition.

Obviously, Sophie wasn’t satisfied with covering a single Sinatra song. Once again, she captivated the judges with a charming rendition of “New York, New York,” a moment she shared with the world on Instagram.

Although she didn’t make it past the Judge’s Cuts, she proved that age is just a number when it comes to making viewers’ jaws drop. What is Sophie Fatu doing now? Perhaps the most important question is, what is Sophie not up to these days? AGT fans will be happy to know that not only is she still pursuing her dream of being a singer, but she’s experiencing everything a kid her age should be doing. Now 12 years old — the same age Darci Lynne was when she won Season 12 of AGT — Sophie is in school focusing on her studies, but she also discovered a new talent: She’s pretty good at gymnastics! Her official Instagram account features a handful of videos of Sophie tumbling and flipping and generally having a great time on the mat, so who knows? Maybe viewers will see her singing and performing a gymnastics routine during a future season of AGT one day. Over on her family’s YouTube account, fans can listen to countless impressive covers featuring the young star, including a particularly rousing rendition of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto that has amassed over one million views.
