It was recently reported that the result in the assault trial that A$AP Rocky was facing was not guilty. Rocky was declared not guilty.

Rihanna, Rocky’s girlfriend and the mother of his two boys, was crying and gave Joe Tacopina, Rocky’s defense attorney, a huge embrace. Rocky’s defense attorney was also crying. Rocky spoke with the members of the jury as they left the courtroom one by one, saying, “Thank you for saving my life.”

Rocky expressed his gratitude to God and the jury for giving him the opportunity to be a free man outside of the courthouse. He was delighted to put the legal drama behind him and told media and supporters that he was relieved to be free.

Following the conclusion of the final statements on Friday afternoon, the jury in Los Angeles started deliberations on Tuesday morning. Rocky, the rapper, was charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and if he were found guilty, he could have been sentenced to a maximum of twenty-four years in prison.
