Immediately after the remarriage of her ex-husband, Prince Nikolaos, Princess Tatiana of Greece issued a positive statement in which she expressed her gratitude to her supporters.

On Friday, February 7, Hello! Magazine stated that Nikolaos, who is 55 years old, celebrated his marriage with Chrysí Vardinogiánni in the St. Nikolaos Ragavas church located in Plaka, Athens, Greece. The wedding, which was attended by members of the Greek royal family, took place ten months after Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana, who is 44 years old, decided to terminate their relationship.

If I were to begin this article, I would have to begin by expressing my gratitude to this remarkable community. Thank you to everyone who has put me in a place where I feel comfortable, powerful, and supported. On February 12, Tatiana said in an Instagram post, “My heart is full of gratitude.” The message was published on Wednesday.

Following the conclusion of her divorce, Tatiana, who is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, said that she does not want to evacuate Greece.

The response that I have always given to the question of whether or not I will continue to reside in Greece is an unequivocal yes. It is because of you. I am grateful to you for keeping your homes, your hearts, and your doors open. Tatiana added in the caption, “Your kindness and support means everything,” which was accompanied by a black-and-white photo of the subject.

Continuing, Tatiana said that the most recent few weeks had been “an adventure,” and she also mentioned that she just relocated to a new residence.

In addition, she provided an update on Breathe, a non-profit organization that has an emphasis on mental health and was established by the princess in the year 2020. “Breathe has officially partnered with the Kevin Love Fund, which is the foundation of NBA player Kevin Love, to bring social and emotional learning tools to Greece, and our team continues to grow,” she added.

“Special thanks to those who help me stay strong—physically, emotionally, and in every way that matters,” Tatiana said later in the article. “I feel absolutely nothing without them.” I am a rock for you people, and you are my rock.

The announcement of Nikolaos and Tatiana’s divorce was made on April 19, 2024, with the following statement: “Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana, after fourteen years of living together, have decided to dissolve their marriage.”

“Both express the difficulty of this decision, the profound appreciation and respect they have for each other, but also the love with which they have walked all these years,” the statement said. “Both express the love that they have walked with all these years.”

Tatiana, who was born in Caracas to parents of Slovenian and German descent, went to boarding school in Switzerland and studied sociology at Georgetown University before moving to Greece with Nikolaos in 2013.

Nikolaos, on the other hand, brought up in the United Kingdom. As a result of the dissolution of the monarchy in 1973, the Greek royal family was forced to temporarily relocate to a foreign country.

“I wasn’t able to contain my excitement when I was eventually given the chance to relocate here with my wife. When Nikolaos was asked about his feelings in 2020 by Business Insider, he said, “I won’t lie, I was a little bit apprehensive because I had built up this idea and image in my mind of what it would be like.”
