Despite the ongoing Palisades Fire, the house that belonged to James Woods is still intact.

In a video that he uploaded to X, the actor, who is 77 years old, said that he went to see what he believed to be the wreckage of his house, but instead he was shocked to see that it was still intact.

Woods wrote, “A miracle has occurred,” in reference to the view that he had from his deck. Because we were able to go to our land, we discovered that our house, which we had been told would be gone forever, is still standing. Within this horrific panorama, the concept of “standing” is relative; yet, smoke and other damage are not comparable to the complete annihilation that is occurring around us.

Woods wrote, “A miracle has occurred,” in reference to the view that he had from his deck. In addition, Woods demonstrated his yard, highlighting a young guy called Francis who was pitching in to assist.

According to Francis, whose father we were able to rescue, he is now putting out flames on our hillside.

A complete 360-degree view of the surrounding region was provided by the woods, which also included billows of smoke rising in the distance. Finally, he focused his attention on the yard of his neighbor. “Take a look at this, jeez. It is heard that Woods is saying, “Oh my God.”

In a different article, Woods provided further information of Francis’s father, who is 94 years old and whom Woods and a neighbor assisted in rescuing.

The comment that Woods added to the picture that was posted on X said, “The man on the left, Robert Trinkkeller, is a hero.” As a result of the favor of God, he remained in the area when the order to evacuate was presented. When I phoned our neighbor in Boston, who is on the right, to make sure that his father, who is 94 years old, had been evacuated, he was distraught to learn that a substitute caregiver had left his father behind.

According to what Woods said, the man’s son took a flight out the next day while they proceeded to identify the flames that were still burning on the hillside.

Woods proceeded by saying, “If you are fortunate enough to have neighbors who are so wonderful, you are luckier than you currently realize.”

The Palisades fire broke out on Tuesday, January 7, and Woods said that he had only recently completed the renovations to his property before the fire broke out. An update was provided by Woods the following day, stating that the fire had gotten close to his residence in the Palisades, which caused the smoke alarms to go off.

I couldn’t believe that our quaint little house in the hills had been able to hold on for such a long time. According to what Woods posted on X, “it feels like losing a loved one.”

In addition, Woods expressed gratitude to his supporters and everyone else who reached out to him. “To all the wonderful people who’ve reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned,” he said in an article on X. “I just wanted to keep you informed that we were able to effectively evacuate the building. At the time, I am unable to say for certain whether or not our house is still standing, but unfortunately, the properties on our little street are not.
