The defamation lawsuit that Donald Trump and ABC News were involved in has been resolved, with the media outlet agreeing to pay millions of dollars.
It has been reported by several sources, including an item that was published on the website of ABC News, that the two parties had reached an agreement to settle the case for the sum of fifteen million dollars.

It has been stated that the funds would be allocated to a “Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for [Trump], as Presidents of the United States of America have established in the past.” This is in contrast to the 47th President of the United States receiving the funds directly.
The compensation was discussed in a statement that was issued by ABC News… stating in writing, “We are pleased that the parties have reached an agreement to dismiss the lawsuit on the terms in the court filing.”
Not only will the corporation pay the settlement, but it will also pay an additional one million dollars to Trump’s legal team for compensation.
The defamation complaint was launched by Trump in March, after an interview with Nancy Mace in which host George Stephanopoulos said that Trump had been judged guilty for “rape.”
In the case that was brought up by E. Jean Carroll, DJT was found to be accountable for sexual assault; however, he was not found to be guilty for rape; hence, he and his attorneys filed a lawsuit.
It is also being stated that ABC News will make an apology on its website as part of the settlement that has been reached.
We attempted to get a reaction from Trump, but we have not received any response as of yet.
