In response to all of the detractors who have said that Jake Paul’s massive victory against Mike Tyson was not legitimate, Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions has responded by stating that there were no constraints whatsoever that prevented either side from performing to the best of their ability.
El Gallo’s victory against Iron Mike, which was decided by a unanimous decision, was met with a great deal of skepticism, the majority of which came from those who refused to believe that a YouTuber who was 27 years old could overcome a boxing legend who was 58 years old.
There were other footage of the fight that were studied, and they said that there was proof that Tyson was pulling punches. The people believed that Tyson did this in order to obtain a larger paycheck for allowing Jake to do his thing.
However, MVP has had enough of that narrative, and he has issued a long statement in which he disproves all of the claims that have been circulating about the fight.
MVP brought up the fact that if the event was rigged, it would be a federal felony, and taking into consideration that it was sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, it was a legitimate outcome.
“Both competitors, acting in good faith, gave their best performance to the best of their ability with the intention of beating the other. The statement said that there were no constraints whatsoever, whether they were contractual or otherwise, around any of the rival fighters. “In order to prevail in the bout, every fighter was able to use his whole arsenal. The TDLR boxing regulations would be broken by any arrangement that was contradictory to the rules.
MVP referred to all of the criticism as “naive” since it was a “insult” to the effort that Paul and Tyson had done as well as to the sport as a whole.
In point of fact, the campaign referred to the idea that it would be “illogical and inane” to suppose that it would harm its alliance with Netflix by attempting to pull a quick one on the streaming giant in its launch of live sports coverage.
Additionally, MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian addressed the issue, stating, “This is not the first time Jake Paul has faced unfounded skepticism or outright disbelief as a professional athlete, and frankly, the claim that his bout must have been rigged is just the latest backhanded compliment to come his way.” Bidarian was referring to the fact that Paul has dealt with similar situations in the past.
From the very beginning of his career in this sport, people have had doubts about his capabilities. They have been unable to comprehend how someone with his background has been able to achieve so much in such a short period of time. Jake has not only successfully shown his worth on several occasions, but he has also consistently established historical records that speak for themselves.
Bidarian lauded Paul for his ability to attract a large number of people to his boxing adventure, taking into account the fact that the event broke records for both the number of people who attended and the number of people who watched it.
For as long as Jake continues to perform above and above what is expected of him, there will always be those who attempt to cast doubt on his accomplishments. We are not afraid of uncertainty; in fact, it serves as impetus for Jake to exert more effort and achieve greater achievement.
