After accusing Katie Taylor of purposefully headbutting her many times, Amanda Serrano has issued a mea culpa. She has also taken to X to inform everyone that she was completely out of line with her prior statements.
I’ll tell you the truth… During the battle that took place in Dallas on Friday night, shortly before Jake Paul faced Mike Tyson, Amanda and Katie got into a fight. During the fight, Katie’s forehead came up and hit Amanda directly above the eye.
Taylor won the fight by a unanimous decision, and Serrano and her trainer were not pleased with the verdict. Serrano told the interviewer who was there after the fight that it seemed to be purposeful since Taylor did it in every battle.
On the other hand, it seems like Amanda quickly realized that she had gone too far when she referred to her opponent as a filthy fighter. She then went on X and congratulated KT on her significant win.
She responded to the celebrity with a lengthy reply asking her to take responsibility for her earlier statements. You can read the statement for yourself, but here is the heart of it: Serrano acknowledges that she should not have mistreated another boxer or diminished her triumph, and she expresses her desire for an exciting finale to their boxing trilogy.

AS says that Katie is not purposefully engaging in a dirty move; rather, her technique does result in head-to-head contact, which is the reason why it continues to occur in the ring.
The gash that Serrano sustained above her eye is rather terrible, and it is not difficult to see why she made such statements. After the altercation, she uploaded a picture of it to Instagram, and many of her followers were taken aback by the revelation.
Taylor has prevailed in every single bout that he has fought against Serrano, including the one that took place in 2022 at Madison Square Garden, which he won by a split decision.
