Song Jae-rim, a well-known actor from South Korea, passed away at the age of 39.
On Tuesday, November 12, the body of the actor who had previously worked as a model was discovered inside his residence in Seoul, according to a number of news agencies, including CNN and The Korea Herald.
It was stated by the outlets that Jae-rim was found by a buddy with whom he had intended to have lunch scheduled. In addition, a message was discovered, according to the Seoul Seongdong police, who said that there was no indication of any kind of criminal activity at the location.
In a statement to CNN, the police said that their preliminary investigation has not uncovered any indications of illegal conduct. As the family did not choose to have an autopsy performed, we shall go on with the process of transferring the de.ad person to the care of his family.
According to Variety, Jae-rim’s breakthrough performance came in the film Actresses, which was released in 2009. He subsequently went on to feature in twenty episodes of the drama Moon Embracing the Sun, which aired in 2012, before making an appearance on the reality program We Got Married, which aired in 2014.
The publication also said that the star’s last appearance was in a prominent role in the action-comedy film Get Rich, which was directed by Yang Tae-jin and began post-production in the latter part of September.

Stars in South Korea took to social media to express their condolences and pay respect to Jae-rim after hearing the news of his passing.
“This is really insane… It’s Jae-lim… You were such a happy and upbeat person… I do not believe this at all. In a post on Instagram, the actor Park Ho-san expressed his regret for not getting in touch with him or showing him sufficient concern. The statement was accompanied by a photograph of the two of them inside a bar.
An additional statement that the actor Hong Seok-cheon included in his post was, “I’m sad that I can’t see your wonderful smile again.”
“This circumstance is so sad that I am unable to provide better care for them, and I am forced to let them leave without welcoming them…… Please accept my sincere apologies, and may you finally find peace.
It was on January 23, 2019, when Jae-rim posted her last Instagram post, which consisted of mirror-selfie headshots accompanied with the word “😷.”
