Readers are about to be treated to a cheesy delight.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of its Book It! program, which is a reading promotion for schoolchildren, Pizza Hut is giving away one million free personal pan pizzas. The gift is available to pizza enthusiasts of all ages, regardless of whether they are currently enrolled in school or not.

While placing an order online, customers may get a free six-inch pizza with a purchase of $8 by entering the promotional code “BOOKIT40” into the appropriate field. In celebration of the anniversary of the pizza chain’s reading program and National Book Month, the offer is valid for the whole month of October (or until one million pizzas have been redeemed, whichever comes first).

It was in 1984 that Pizza Hut first introduced the Book It! campaign, and the company believes that it has distributed more than 1.5 billion pizzas to readers as a result of its many efforts. According to a press statement, the pizza restaurant has distributed 56 million personal pan pizzas in only the last 11 years alone.

Other than the pizzas that are provided, the program has also worked to improve the reading opportunities available to children all throughout the nation. For example, it has provided teachers working in Title 1 schools with books that are either cheap or absolutely free.

Taco Bell is now offering a variety of different cheesy treats. In the fast food chain, the Big Cheez-It menu items have been brought back around.

According to a press release, beginning on September 20th, consumers will be able to buy the Big Cheez-It on its own for the price of one dollar. This will allow them to “craft their own cheesy innovations at home.”

Additionally, since it was last available, the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme has undergone a comprehensive redesign. Despite the fact that the item on the menu has the typical components of a Crunchwrap, which are beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream, the center of the Crunchwrap now contains two Cheez-Its rather than just one. There is a price tag of $5.50 for the dish, which is a flour tortilla that has been grilled.

When making the Big Cheez-It Tostada, the gigantic cracker is used in place of the traditional crispy tostada. After that, the Cheez-It is topped with hamburger, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream, and it charges $3 for the topping.
