When the bill finally comes, you are having a wonderful time celebrating a supper with your pals. All of a sudden, there is a change in the mood, with uncomfortable stares and anxious giggles. Regardless of whether everyone ordered something different, should you divide the cost fairly among all of them, or should each individual pay for their own meal? One person on Reddit addressed the situation in a manner that left everyone at the table absolutely astonished, despite the fact that it is a problem that we have all encountered.

Whenever I go out, I always make sure to ask for a separate check. In no way am I going to pay for your meals! The fact that they stated that they had no intention of paying for their own lunch would make it impossible for me to ever go out with them again. Nothing wrong was done by you. To anybody who is complaining, I would send them a text message in which they admitted that they had no intention of paying for their own meal cost. Your friend Dan is the one who advised you to get yourself together and show out for the evening!

Before the meal begins, is it not possible to request separate checks from the server, so that each individual receives their own check for the items that they have ordered? There are some individuals who believe that this is a little bit tacky; nevertheless, it is not anywhere close to being as bad as ordering a dinner that is five times more expensive than anybody else’s and expecting them to pay for it instead.

Every one of you is aware that they are exploiting the circumstances in order to live an opulent lifestyle on the money that belongs to other people. If you want them to learn how to live within their means, you should just stop dining out with them. Certain individuals need a sobering dose of the truth.

It was obvious that they had planned this whole affair in advance and anticipated that others would shoulder the financial burden for their way of life. I have hope that Dan will open his eyes, although at the moment, they seem to be quite closed. On the other hand, congratulations!
