When Disney released Frozen, the world was unprepared for the sisters Elsa and Anna, who renamed what it meant to be a Disney princess and changed the way the world saw them.
Naturally, they were unprepared for Idina Menzel’s blockbuster song “Let It Go” from Frozen, which was performed by Elsa. Covers of the song were soon to be found almost everywhere, and it soon became a tune that was played anytime someone was having trouble doing anything.
The song had widespread popularity for a number of years. Having said that, the song proved very challenging to play live. Menzel is capable of hitting notes that even the most seasoned vocalists find hard to achieve.
Jodie Bird, who was just 16 years old when she sang, received an X from Simon on the show “British Acquired Talent.” Nevertheless, the other judges gave him permission to continue singing, and Jodi was moved through to the next round.
Jody made the decision to sing the well-known Disney tune for a second time in the hopes of getting the audience worked up. There have been many vocalists who have attempted the song, but none of them have been able to perform it right.
In spite of this, Jodi ultimately sang a condensed version of “Let Go,” which was met with applause and approval from the audience. The judges complimented him on his remarkable ability to strike the notes, and they expressed their delight that he had advanced to the final round.
Even Simon had a full about-face in his attitude. He said that he did it for the first time because he thought X needed support and trust, therefore that’s why he provided it to him. He explained to Jody that the lady should express her gratitude to the guy for hitting that button since it helped him to get deeper into the song and sing it more effectively.
He was able to convey his delight in his boldness and offer his congratulations on reaching to the third level of the competition. The unprecedented and once in a lifetime chance for Jodi to disprove Simon Cowell’s claims was presented to her.
